It’s here!!! Our 2014 Mercedes-Benz S550 demo has arrived! This vehicle is Iridium Silver with Black Premium Leather. Premium Package, Rear Seat Package, Air Balance Package, and a bunch of other things I haven’t had a chance to get my hands on yet! It is being inspected now and should be available to test drive and ogle in the morning!

We are taking orders now for the S-Class of your dreams! Expected launch date is October 15th.

It’s here! We sent our personal transporter to the port this morning to pick up our first 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA250! He then rushed it back to the dealership so we can have it ready to test drive tomorrow!

We just had a few minutes to check it out before it went into service for an inspection and detail. I am already impressed with the build quality and overall appearance. It looks very expensive!

Call me to set up an appointment for a test drive! I imagine I’ll spend all day tomorrow doing laps in this car!

Starting Over � 2005 E320 CDI to 2014 E250 Bluetec!  阅读原文»

Mike really loved his 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI that he bought as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in 2007…

It was a fantastic vehicle for his long commute and frequent travel. In the 6 years he owned it he put on about 210,000 miles and really enjoyed the fuel economy. In fact, over the last 40,000 miles he was averaging almost 33 mpg in mixed driving! That is excellent considering the car was rated at 23 City and 33 Highway by the EPA.

But, it was time to make a change and the all-new 2014 E250 Bluetec was calling his name! Now, this one is rated at 28 City and 45 Highway by the EPA. I can hardly wait to see what he gets in the real world!

Here’s to another quarter of a million miles! Thanks Mike!

Mercedes-Benz has scheduled the 2014 S550 to be released on October 15th! The S550 4Matic and the S63 AMG are expected to follow in November. This is an update from the previous expected date of September 20th.

2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class base price:

• S550 2WD $92,900
• S550 4MATIC $95,900
• S63 AMG $139,500

Most options pricing has been released as well so you can now add up the S-Class of your dreams. Order soon if you hope to have one before the 2015 model arrives!

I went for a little road trip today in a 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350. I drove about 120 miles round trip to Fayetteville, Georgia and had a great time! I used less than a quarter of a tank of fuel, seamlessly navigated the highways and rural roads, and interacted with several of our new systems.

The 2014 E350 is officially rated at 21 City and 30 Highway but I think it is better than that! I had a lot of stop and go once I got off the main road and the fuel economy is still closer to 30 mpg!

This may be my best ever Eco Display score. Normally on the way to work it gets down into the single digits! Notice in the picture that I am using both the ECO Start/Stop function and the HOLD braking feature at the same time!

The E-Class is a very busy car and there are a lot of features. Here are a few of the features I interacted with on my little trip:

• Navigation using voice control to enter the destination as well as a waypoint and an alternative route.
• Collision Prevention Assist alerted me twice that I was closing the gap to the vehicle in front too quickly and boosted the braking power when I did apply the brakes.
• ECO Start/Stop shut down the engine at stop lights and stop signs to reduce emissions and conserve fuel.
• HOLD braking allowed me to rest my legs at lights.
• Rain Sensitive Windshield Wipers kept the glass clear through sprinkles and downpours.

…all that in just 2 hours! Imagine what this car could do for you all the time!
