The Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class has only been available for a few months and I am just starting to get feedback from my early adopters. It seems to be a hit! This client did his research early and asked for a couple of additions before he picked it up.
The Cargo Tray is an excellent addition to the vehicle. The 2″ tall lip means thatanything you spill will be contained. The first time they handed it to me at the parts desk I was sure it was the wrong one. It was huge! The GLA250 really does have an impressive amount of storage.
The Coat Hangarworks for most Mercedes-Benz models (must have headreststalks) and is apopular option with doctors. I guess balling up your lab coat in the back seat is a no-no.
Also, I just saw an announcement that the all-weather liners for the GLA-Class, CLA-Class and B-Classare now available.

Keyless-GO is an option built into your SamrtKey. If the car senses the key, it will allow you to open the doors, start the car and lock the doors with the touch of your hand. This extra capability can drain the small battery in the key more quickly than you might like. To combat that battery drain it is now possible to turn off the Keyless-Go functionality of your key!
2015 vehicles (and possibly replacement keys ordered now):
Now theindicated (and photo enhanced) LED on the key will flash twice quickly and once longer to indicate that the Keyless-GO functionality is turned off. This is a good idea for your spare key so it doesn’t have a dead battery when you need it, or if you are taking your key on a long vacation.
To reactivate, simply press unlock on the key.
Go ahead, try it. Be a Mercedes expert!

The red accents look amazing on this black car and I didn’t even notice the lower decal until I was taking these pictures!
The interior is full of red accents and the very sporty dinamica interior.
The red grille surround is my favorite feature.

Give us a few extra weeks and we will hand-stitch your interior with some very special leather.
This 2015 E63 AMG S-Model was ordered for a client a few months ago with the designo Amaretto leather. I have not seen this color in person before and I would say that the color swatch does not quite convey what a vibrant color it is!

For those who haven’t been keeping up the latest MBUSA scuttlebutt, they have officially announced the move to metro Atlanta! The first temporary offices are expected to open this summer, withthe major construction project to be completed by 2017.
This will move the US headquarters closer to our factory in Tuscaloosa and our shipping hub in Brunswick. How exciting!
When I tell clients that the vehicle they ordered is on the way from Germany, I usually add a disclaimer about “barring any catastrophe” it should be here in 10 days. This is that catastrophe!This vehicle transport ship was in danger of capsizing so they had to run aground to save it! Good news, no Mercedes aboard. However, itstill turns mystomach to look at it!
I am a wagon fan. Always have been. We had numerous Volvo wagons when I was a kid – always called The Brick – and the classic E-Class wagons – called the Cool Bus. There is something special about having a row of seats to yourself.
It turns out I am not the only fan! US sales of the E350 wagon have been increasing! As a nod to this small group of wagon enthusiasts, Automobile Magazine has recently published quite a few articles about the E350 wagon, the E63 AMG wagon and thenon-US CLS-Class Shooting Brake. That’s it! The Rear Facing third row. I’ve obviously outgrown it but I have such fond memories of sitting back there getting big rigs to honk, making faces at other kids and road-tripping like a queen ensconced in a carriage!
