Confirming the steadfast quality of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, J.D. Power's recent survey showed four top satisfaction ratings for cars from the German manufacturer. Mercedes' A-, C-, and E-Class cars all gained the top ratings from the highly respected survey firm, with the C-Class taking the top honors for the third consecutive time and the E-Class for the second time. Apart from these, Mercedes also won the Overall VOSS award for brands.
Such consistent results are the result of Mercedes' continuing commitment to quality engineering and innovation, and such survey results are one of the many confirmations of why Mercedes-Benz cars are class leaders in various vehicle segments. As Dr. Joachim Schmidt, Member of the Board of Mercedes-Benz Cars responsible for Sales and Marketing enthused, “We are delighted that we have once again been able to secure the top places in the J.D. Power Study 2012. Our aim in the future is to continue to set the highest of standards, not only in terms of quality, service, and ecology, but of course also with our exciting designs, inspirational technology and high levels of driving pleasure. As a result we hope that the Mercedes-Benz brand will continue to be extremely well received by our customers.”
The show, which will premiere on June 6 at 10 PM on the Discovery Channel, focuses on the duo of Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufmann as they search for old and forgotten classic cars all over Texas and other nearby states, then restore those cars so that they can auction the shiny new rides and make a profit.
No barn in any countryside will be left unturned as the guys from the Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas look for the perfect project. In addition, Rawlings also takes on side projects that require minimal work so he can sell them for a much higher value, meaning more funds for duo's main goal.
The show involves a lot of wheeling and dealing, restoring, test-driving, and auctioning fun. Anybody who loves classic cars or who appreciates the effort that goes into restoring vintage vehicles will surely enjoy it. Who knows, they might even do some work on Mercedes-Benz cars in the show. Now, that will be great to see.
