Mercedes-Benz is really going all-out as far as marketing the new CLA goes. The automaker, via its MercedesBenzTV channel on YouTube, has outed a fresh commercial for the vehicle. We see the familiar action shots of a vehicle isolated across roads and different types of terrain, although here, we get to see a wolf running around as if it were an avatar for the car.
The spot highlights some of the qualities of the CLA, such as its ‘dynamic coupe character’ and other key features and technologies of the vehicle. Still, likening the CLA to a wolf and showcasing stuff like BlueEFFICIENCY and Collision Prevention Assist isn’t exactly what most people might have in mind when mentioning the word ‘untamed’.
On the other hand, the video has great cinematography and really makes the sleekness of the CLA show. Plus, there’s a nice scene at the end involving the car and the wolf. There’s certainly more happening here than in that teaser for the Super Bowl spot starring Kate Upton.
Seeing former Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton in Mercedes AMG Petronas digs definitely takes some getting used to. If you’re one of the Mercedes fans holding their breath until you see Hamilton in action once the new season comes around, let’s fast-track the process of getting used to Lewis Hamilton as the new driver for the team.
There’s this video, for instance, released by the Mercedes AMG Petronas YouTube channel, featuring Hamilton’s trip to Stuttgart. He speaks of adjusting, learning, and motivation for the upcoming season, among other things.
Oh, and we get to see the new Mercedes-Benz CLA in the background in one part of the video. Clever placement, Mercedes-Benz.
